What does mean “2 Croissants 1 Baguette”?

It was simply our usual order at the local bakery: two croissants and one baguette. Over time, it became our signature expression of Parisian life.

Where did you lived in Paris?

We lived in a non-touristy area north of the Canal Saint-Martin, in the 10th arrondissement. It was a charming spot, especially in the evenings when everyone gathered along the canal for “Apéro.” However, I wouldn’t recommend this area for visiting Paris, as it’s quite far from the main landmarks. That’s also one of the reasons we didn’t fully enjoy our time in Paris—it felt like it took forever to get to places like the Louvre or the Eiffel Tower. Where are you from?

We’re both French, but not from Paris—we grew up in the countryside. It was only after graduating that we moved to Paris to live and work. Now, we live abroad, but we still return often to visit family and enjoy everything Paris has to offer.
